The aim of the visitor service of the BMZ is to give the visitors a good understanding of the German development aid through the insertion of hands-on experience of the speakers. Moreover, new perspectives are being introduced and the experiences of the global contexts are passed on to the German society.
The Madiba team, in cooperation with the BMZ, designed and conducted a workshop for students of the 9th grade of the Merian High School in Seligenstadt, in order to introduce the students to the German development aid work. Besides theoretical knowledge, the students have gained practical knowledge particularly through an interactive workshop, which allowed them to become active themselves.
There has been positive feedback from the BMZ, as well as the students and teachers. We had a lot of fun conducting the workshop and we are looking forward to support the BMZ visitor service in the future.
